Knutsford Rex Probus keeping in touch during Covid-19.

“It is unfortunate but unavoidable that Knutsford Rex Probus Club has had to close for the time being because of the Covid-19 pandemic restrictions. Committee members are maintaining the ethos of the Club by contacting all Club members regularly by telephone to check on their wellbeing. We are also using our website in a proactive way.”
The Club has set up Chat and Rex at Home pages on the extensive website at www.knutsfordrexprobus.co.uk The list of subjects includes TV programmes, YouTube streaming of recent events from the National Theatre and Andrew Lloyd Webber musicals, BBC iPlayer programmes, IT advice, maintaining car batteries when car not in use, local shops taking orders by telephone and delivering, and holiday balance payments and credit notes. Additionally, several quizzes have been put on the Rex at Home pages on a variety of topics including football, geography and local knowledge. The uptake on these initiatives has been good and everyone looks forward to when the Club can recommence its regular meetings and comprehensive range of activities, whenever that is.
