16th December 2021 – Walk – Windmill Wood and Ollerton

Seven walkers set out for a local walk of just over 4 miles taking the paths through Toft Windmill Wood and over the fields of Ollerton. The paths through the wood were quite muddy so how on earth the fashionable Mahmoud Elamin kept his shiny boots still shining by the end will remain a mystery to the end of time. The walkers plus other club members then met at “Langdale”, at the invitation of Scott and Judith Martin, being refreshed by seasonal snacks and a good choice of drinks, some of which were very “seasonal.” The club would like to express thanks to Scott and Judith for such a kind invitation to their home.

The club welcomed Mr John Peet, Chairman of Tatton Probus and Mr Rick Dallimore, President of Knutsford Rotary. The Christmas Lunch is one of the highlight events of the year and the Statham Lodge was complimented on the standard of food by all.
